Hollywood Production Center Tenant Releases New Kristen Wiig Comedy

The film, directed by actress and filmmaker Shira Piven, also stars Wes Bentley, James Marsden, Tim Robbins, Joan Cusack, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Linda Cardellini. Wiig''s character, Alice Klieg, has a borderline personality disorder. And when she wins the lottery, she decides to abandon her psychiatric meds and spend her winnings on launching her own cable access talk show. Hoping to become the next Oprah, Klieg shares her brazenly honest and peculiar views on air, along with all of her emotional and psychological issues. Meanwhile, her larger-than-life personality and obsession with fame begins to alienate friends and family. Critics rave that it''s the perfect role for Wiig''s deadpan comedic talent.
