Research Scientist Dr. Paul Roethle Teams Up With Constance Pure Botanical Extracts to Study the Medicinal Benefits of Cannabis Oil

Dr. Roethle will be spearheading the research and development efforts at CPBE and helping to unlock the biological and therapeutic potential of using botanical extracts from the cannabis plant.
Dr. Roethle earned a Ph.D in organic chemistry from the University of California Berkeley in 2008 with a focus on the chemistry and biosynthesis of natural products. He then spent 7 years working at Gilead Services, a research-based biopharmaceutical company, as a Medicinal Chemist and Project Manager on several projects, including finding and advancing new therapies for HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and other liver diseases.
Dr. Roethle is listed as co-author on over 15 publications, including articles in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry and Journal of the American Chemical Society, as well as co-inventor on numerous patents and patent applications. He is also a member of the .
