Scintilla Quantum, LLC ("SCINTILLA") Files Patent for GobblinQ(TM) With Backing From Venture Capital Firm Legion Capital America
(firmenpresse) - LAS VEGAS, NV -- (Marketwired) -- 04/28/15 -- Scintilla has filed a patent application for GobblinQ™, a proprietary intelligent system method of payment, finance, and social commerce. Fabrizio Boccardi, owner of Scintilla and creator of GobblinQ™, stated, "We are extremely pleased to bring GobblinQ™ to the marketplace and protect our innovative product and look forward to receiving an issued U.S. patent." The patent was filed by leading intellectual property law firm Kenyon & Kenyon LLP. Kenyon partner Jim Rosini commented, "We are pleased we could file this patent on behalf of Scintilla and have every expectation that it will fully mature into an issued patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, thus protecting this novel system and technology."
Legion Capital America, controlled by venture capitalist Fabrizio Boccardi, provided a seed round to Scintilla allocated to broadening the Alpha development of GobblinQ™ and review of its proprietary software systems and methods to market.
Tyrant Interactive Media, with funding provided by Legion, also contributed capital to the Pre-alpha phase of GobblinQ™. In 2014, Tyrant Interactive announced a bridge round of up to $1,000,000 from Legion.
Scintilla will be engaging independent third parties to review the patents and the merit of the system and technology in anticipation of a first round of financing for GobblinQ™. Beta development and testing of GobblinQ™ will begin as soon as the product is reviewed and validated.
