Federal Funds Help Modernize Kamloops'' Pavilion Theatre

The Government of Canada has provided $60,000 in funding to the Western Canada Theatre Society through the .

Cathy McLeod, Member of Parliament (Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo), announced this support today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

The funding will enable the Pavilion Theatre to renovate and upgrade the 165-seat black box theatre, which also doubles as a rehearsal hall and is the only fully equipped professional theatre in the region. This project will directly benefit local and touring arts organizations by creating a more comfortable and safe working site.
