Compliance With Rigorous Security Standard Adds to Growing List of Security Certifications

Created by the Auditing Standards Board (ASB) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AIPCA), the SOC 2 is a respected certification that reports on controls for service organizations. It validates control systems according to stringent Trust Services Principles and Criteria around security, availability, process integrity, privacy, and confidentiality.
The SOC 2 is the latest addition to Mattersight''s list of security and data protection certifications. The company also maintains PCI-DSS Level 1 Service Provider certification, and complies with a number of other security standards, including ISO 27001 and those documented in HIPAA/HITECH.
