AMS Technologies presents online tool for choosing the right cabinet cooler
AMS Technologies releases the first version of its online tool enabling thermal designers to quickly dimension cabinet coolers
(PresseBox) - The tool has been developed to allow users to quickly determine, which cooling technology, such as heat pipes, TEC or compressors can be used for their requirements and chose from a large selection of AMS Technologies'' standard cabinet coolers. If none of the standard solutions are suitable, AMS Technologies will be able to design and deliver a turnkey custom cabinet cooling solution.
The use of the calculator is free of charge and can be found at http://cabinet-coolers.amstechnologies.com/
The tool also gives an estimation of heat transfer across cabinet walls. It allows to dimension insulation properties when cooling below ambient is needed. In case cabinet temperature is above ambient it is possible to estimate heat radiation capacity of the cabinet alone which allows to reduce the safety margin and selection of a smaller size of the cooling unit.
Cabinet Coolers Air-to-Air
Cool electronics to slightly above the outside ambient air temperature with our air-to-air models.
Air is circulated inside the cabinet to keep hot spots from forming. Flange and neoprene gasket keep contaminants out - ideal for dusty and dirty environments. No outside air enters the enclosure. Corrosion resistant coatings and optional stainless steel construction protect against damage from harsh or corrosive environments. Easy to install on the top, sides, front or back of your panel or enclosure. One person can easily install in one hour in most applications. Energy efficient and low power requirement, no new electrical is needed.
