Farber Plastic Surgery Celebrates Two-Year Anniversary in Boca Raton

Dr. Farber and his team at Farber Plastic Surgery dedicated themselves to the fight to combat breast and skin cancer by partnering with the American Cancer Society''s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer community walk where more than 20,000 South Palm Beach residents rallied together to raise over $500,000 for and the Run from the Rays 5k, which helped raise over $40,000 for the . Dr. Farber and Farber Plastic Surgery are also strong supporters of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation for their commitment to bringing state-of-the-art medical care and cancer treatments to South Florida.
To end the year, Farber Plastic Surgery held their annual . At this beautiful event, Drs. Scott and Leslie Farber and the Farber Plastic Surgery team were joined by friends, patients, colleagues and special guests Brian and Claudia Fleury from Fleury Estate Winery in Napa, CA, to raise money for the Boca Raton Museum of Art''s Special Needs Arts Program.
About Scott T. Farber, MD, FACS
Scott T. Farber, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. A fourth-generation surgeon, Dr. Farber has distinguished himself in the fields of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery with both his academic achievements and esteemed surgical training.
Dr. Farber also celebrated many recent professional achievements. In 2014, Dr. Farber became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). An honor bestowed upon a select group of board-certified surgeons that meet strict criteria of excellence in their respective fields. In addition to numerous Patients Choice Awards and Most Compassionate Doctor Awards, Dr. Farber was selected as Boca Raton Regional Hospital Physician of the Month in 2013. The Physician of the Month award recognizes a member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital medical staff who demonstrates outstanding compassion for patients and their families, respect and support for fellow members of the patient care team, and a willingness to teach others. Dr. Farber was also honored at numerous events and led various local aesthetic seminars such as the 2014 "211 Luncheon" and the FPS Voluma® Event.
Dr. Farber completed his undergraduate work at Tufts University and went on to excel in medical school at The George Washington University where he graduated with academic distinction in 2003. Dr. Farber completed his plastic surgery training at Michigan State University, where he worked with several of the country''s most renowned breast surgeons. While in Michigan, he was chief resident and received many distinguished awards.
Dr. Farber spent an additional year at the prestigious Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital, attaining highly sub-specialized training in his area of interest, cosmetic surgery. During this year, he worked with eminent cosmetic surgeons Dr. Sherrell Aston, Dr. Daniel Baker and Dr. Alan Matarasso.
Dr. Farber is well-versed in the latest procedural advances, state-of-the-art surgical equipment, and advanced Botox® and injectable techniques. He has spoken nationally on the topics of reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgery and has coauthored many journal articles.
