A smart solution for automated acceptance tests: iTEP wrapper connects the imbus TestBench with Robot Framework
Moehrendorf, 15 April 2015 – The TestBench grows to suit its requirements: Now, acceptance tests can be used easily from the TestBench, too. This is made possible by a new interface to the generic open source tool Robot Framework.
(firmenpresse) - The TestBench is a powerful test management tool. It provides comprehensive functions for specifying test and test data. The TestBench and Robot Framework are connected by a new test adapter. A continuous tool chain is created for automated keyword-driven test.
Robot Framework users have the possibility to embed their test automation in a professional test management tool. TestBench users can drive Robot Framework as a further test automation from the TestBench.
That way, test teams can dynamically respond to challenges in short release cycles. The tool chain meets all the requirements in the context of extended documentation obligations or special traceabilty evidence.
