Federal Funding Supports Celebration of Western Canadian Cowboy Heritage

Member of Parliament John Barlow announces support for the Willow Creek Gathering

The Government of Canada has provided the Willow Creek Cowboy Poetry and Music Society with $2,000 in funding through the program in support of the 15th edition of the Willow Creek Gathering.

John Barlow, Member of Parliament (Macleod), announced this today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

Activities at this year''s gathering will include musical performances, poetry readings, and art exhibitions featuring the work of local artists and artisans.
