Line Break Is a Meeting Place of Art and Poetry, an Exploration of How They Talk to Each Other, an Invitation to See and Say Where Art and Poetry Meet or Split
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BC -- (Marketwired) -- 04/09/15 -- This spring, subTerrain Magazine launches . Each week beginning Monday, April 13 the blog will present readers with two poems and two critiques, one poem-critique pair for each section of Line Break: The section focusing on a close-reading of a poem, and the section offering a poem inspired by art.
Contributing poets and critics include and
Visitors to Line Break will be encouraged to engage with the poetry by sharing their comments on the blog. Readers can share their own reactions to the material, and can utilize the comments section to address how they see the lines between art and poetry blurred or defined by each poem.
From ekphrastic poems (poems describing art or otherwise inspired by art) to poems that actually appear as visual art in form, subTerrain is pleased to provide a new space for readers and viewers of poetry.
