The Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, Minister for Democratic Reform and Minister responsible for the National Capital Commission, on behalf of the Honourable Ed Holder, Minister of State (Science and Technology), will make an announcement concerning the Government of Canada''s support for partnerships between colleges and local businesses in the National Capital Region. The Minister will be joined by Royal Galipeau, Member of Parliament for Ottawa-Orleans.
The announcement will celebrate funding provided through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada''s College and Community Innovation Program.
Prior to the announcement, Minister Poilievre and Mr. Galipeau will tour Algonquin College''s Centre for Construction Excellence. Media are invited to join the tour.
