Jennings is the CEO of and Viral Bolt Media. She has been an advocate for women''s issues, including serving on the board for , a domestic violence shelter in the Kansas City area.
Jennings is living with PTSD as a result of the rape, but has overcome many challenges regardless of it, such as raising a daughter as a single mom and receiving numerous awards, honors and recognitions. She is also recognized as a go-to authority in the technology industry and is frequently interviewed by the tech media as well as speaks at tech events such as .
