Altius Investments Limited Acquires Stake in Kobex Capital Corp.
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 04/01/15 -- Altius Investments Limited ("AIL"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Altius Minerals Corporation (TSX: ALS), and 2260761 Ontario Incorporated ("226") jointly announced today that AIL has acquired from 226 beneficial ownership of 5,328,500 common shares of Kobex Capital Corp. ("Kobex"), a Canadian investment issuer based in Vancouver.
As a result of this transaction, AIL owns 5,328,500 common shares, or approximately 11.71% of the presently issued and outstanding common shares of Kobex (on a non-fully diluted basis) and 226 no longer owns any securities of Kobex.
The securities were acquired on March 31, 2015, through a private sale with 226 at a price of $0.49 per share in connection with a corporate reorganization of 226. AIL has acquired the common shares for investment purposes. AIL''s equity stake may be increased or decreased in the future as considered appropriate in light of investment criteria, market conditions and other factors and in accordance with the provisions of applicable securities legislation.
Kobex is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "KXM".
