On Wednesday, April 8 Scott and DIRTT board member Diana Propper de Calljon will lead a practicum at Chicago''s . The three-day event draws executives, entrepreneurs and consultants to discuss how businesses should be guided by a higher purpose and operated in a manner that elevates humanity.
Scott and Diana will co-lead, with Big Path Capital co-founder Michael Whelchel, "Mission, Money and Legacy - the Role of Purpose in Your Company''s Most Important Financial Transactions." The session will explore the role a company''s Purpose can play in raising capital or through a founder liquidity event, and discuss strategies to ensure a founder leaves a lasting legacy through the continuation of that purpose.
Laurentian Bank Securities conference
Scott then travels to Montreal to present at Laurentian Bank Securities'' Annual Institutional Investor Conference on Thursday, April 9. Scott will discuss DIRTT''s recently released fiscal 2014 annual results, and the company''s longer-term direction and prospects, to retail and institutional investors.
