Alien Technology(R) Names Jose Carlos Oliveira as Director of Business Development for Latin America
(firmenpresse) - MORGAN HILL, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/19/15 -- ®, an industry leader in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Ultra High Frequency (UHF) products and services, today announced that Jose Carlos Oliveira has joined the company as the Director of Business Development for Latin America.
"Jose Carlos joins Alien at a time of rapid market growth for RFID across the globe, but especially within the Latin American region," said Patrick Ervin, Vice President of Sales. "Jose Carlos will help Alien increase its focus on sales and support within this rapidly growing market."
Oliveira has been part of the Auto ID market for more than 25 years and has a strong background in RFID business development, technology implementation and account relationships. He has experience in several market segments including industrial, automotive, pharmaceutical, retail, logistics, electronic and other related technology markets.
Most recently Oliveira was the South America Region Manager at Smartrac. His professional background also includes working at Cognex leading in machine vision and industry ID technologies, Pollux Automation, Renault Automotive and "O Boticário."
Oliveira is a graduate in Industrial Engineering and has an MBA in Project Management (PMI) along with a deep understanding of Latin America markets. He will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, with the objective of expanding Alien''s business presence in Latin America, improving local relationships and expanding integration with Alien local channel partners.
