Dr. Fredric Newman Was Recently Asked to Be the Medical Director of The Andrew Stefanou Salon and Spa, Providing a Variety of Cosmetic Procedures to the Spa's Clientele

The med spa, located directly around the corner from his practice , offers a wide variety of treatments, ranging from facials to hairstyling. Dr. Newman will be performing cosmetic procedures which will be delivered in his state-approved medical facility.
As the Medical Director, Dr. Newman will be overseeing treatments at the spa. He will still be doing and laser skin resurfacing at The Aesthetic Surgery Center. Any non-ablative laser treatments will be performed by a qualified medical professional, ensuring optimal results in the safest setting. In addition to performing procedures, Dr. Newman will conduct regular learning seminars to educate the public on the latest advancements in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Through his partnership with the Andrew Stefanou Salon and Spa, Dr. Newman says patients of his practice, as well as the med spa, can utilize The Aesthetic Surgery Center of Connecticut''s medical-grade skincare line, or the Spa''s skincare line, which contains the highest concentration of active ingredients possible to offer patients the most effective results. He explains that patients of the med spa also have the option of undergoing more advanced treatment options that were not available prior to his arrival.
After attending Yale College for his undergraduate education, earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center, graduating summa cum laude. He then went on to do his general surgery training at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Newman trained in plastic surgery at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at New York University Medical Center where he acted as the Plastic Surgery Chief Resident. To stay current with the latest advancements in plastic surgery, he is active in several medical organizations, including being a Diplomat of National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Newman is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons.
