DigitalTown Partners With ScoreStream to Provide Live Scores

(OTCQB: DGTW) today announced that it partnered with ScoreStream, Inc., San Diego, CA to provide live scores across its 20,000 plus community/high school domain portfolio. The ScoreStream app, built for both Android and Apple IOS, has over 25,000 high schools and 20,000 additional teams at the club, recreational and semi-pro level.
Current sports are Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Hockey, Volleyball, Soccer, Lacrosse, Rugby and Water Polo. Both boys and girls teams are represented at the Varsity, JV and middle school levels in addition to the recreational teams. During this past winter more than 17,000 teams were scored per week.
Burnsville High School on its community/alumni website will start posting live scores this spring with Lacrosse, Softball and Baseball on its Varsity and JV teams.
"The ScoreStream app, widgets, and website data are fantastic tools for our families, alumni, and community to utilize to keep up-to-date with our sports teams. Burnsville''s Alumni will sell sponsorships alongside its virtual scoreboard to help pay for the new video scoreboard fundraiser project now underway for its athletic field.
DigitalTown has begun the roll-out of its national and local sponsor programs announced January 2015.
