Onex Completes Acquisition of Survitec Group

Onex Corporation ("Onex") (TSX: OCX) today announced it has completed the acquisition of Survitec Group Limited ("Survitec") for GBP 450 million. Survitec is a market-leading provider of marine, defence and aerospace survival equipment. Onex Partners IV made an investment of approximately $335 million, of which Onex'' share was $75 million as a limited partner in the Fund. Onex Partners IV and Survitec''s management team own 100% of the company.
