Iron Cactus in Downtown Austin Creates the "Kimmelrita" in Honor of Jimmy Kimmel Live at SXSW and Starts Online Petition Inviting Jimmy to Visit the Famous Margarita Bar
(firmenpresse) - AUSTIN, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 03/10/15 -- Mexican Grill and Margarita Bar in downtown Austin has created a special margarita aptly named Kimmelrita in honor of Jimmy Kimmel while he is in Austin from March 16th-20th hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live at SXSW. Iron Cactus has also started an online petition inviting Kimmel to visit the popular SXSW destination for Mexican dishes and margaritas. The online petition can be signed by visiting .
The is a special concoction created by Iron Cactus'' head mixologist, Jesse Bernal, who included ingredients that captures Kimmel''s personality. The unique drink features George Clooney''s Casamigos Reposado Tequila since the popular host interviews A-list celebrities and it is topped off with IPA made by a local brewery because Kimmel loves beer.
"We hope Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo visit and enjoy some Kimmelritas on the house," said Gary Manley, General Partner at Iron Cactus. "Last year, Jimmy and Guillermo toured Texas Bar-B-Q restaurants. This year, they should consider taking a tour of margarita bars."
Guests not named Jimmy Kimmel can also enjoy the Kimmelrita for $13.00 starting March 16th - 20th, the week Kimmel is hosting his show in Austin.
