TenTen Wilshire to Host LaunchFest -- Doing Deals With Silicon Valley, March 11, 2015
(firmenpresse) - LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/10/15 -- , along with organizer Angel Launch, is proud to announce the hosting of LaunchFest 2015, March 11, 3:00-9:00 pm, an annual event which brings Silicon Valley and San Francisco investors, eager to fund LA-area startups, to the Los Angeles entrepreneur community. During LaunchFest, entrepreneurs will hear directly from Silicon Valley leaders on the hottest industry trends, and have the opportunity to attract funding from angels through dynamic conversations, and private, fast-pitch time. The day allows for ample time to idea-share during panel discussions, and network among angels and new partners.
Among the headline speakers is angel investor Manny Fernandez, Founder of Dreamfunded.com, and the San Francisco Angels Group, from whom you will learn insider strategies to use crowdfunding for market research, data gathering, and attracting angels for early, and mid-stage funding. Fernandez will also teach a highly interactive workshop where startups will learn up-to-date knowledge on how to raise money.
Entrepreneurs will be instructed on how to pitch angel investors and raise money through equity crowdfunding, and how to understand the mindset of an investor. Attendees will also learn:
how to create an elevator pitch;
how to create a PowerPoint that attracts investors;
how to stand out from the competition;
how to network with investors;
how to use websites such as and to raise money from angel investors;
proper planning; and,
whether or not to hire consultants.
The 4:45-6:00 pm session, "Attracting Funding from Angels and VCs in Silicon Valley," is limited to only seventy attendees with VIP tickets, and will address web services, digital media, mobile, eCommerce, big data, enterprise, analytics, crowdfunding, robotics, wearables, and hardware, and will be followed by startup pitches to investors.
Note that the rooftop party, from 6:30-9:00 pm, is open to free ticket holders until capacity is reached.
While general admission tickets to the day''s events are sold out, several other options remain open to start-up founders, and other interested parties. A few three-, five-, seven-, and eight-minute pitch and demo-table tickets are still available. A limited number of VIP tickets remain, an entree that guarantees admission to the program, with seating for seminars and panels with investors, early admission to the party, and private VIP dinner reception with investors. Startups or vendors may choose to host a demo-table or sponsor an event, which includes a comp ticket, demo table, attendee list, and an opportunity to speak to the audience.
