First Dryer Vent Wizard Franchise Opens in New Jersey

With franchises across the U.S. and in Canada, DVW specializes in dryer vent repair, replacement, alteration, cleaning and maintenance for residential and commercial clients.

When the couple researched business opportunities with companies that provide home services, it was Cathy Bellis who was attracted to Dryer Vent Wizard. With four children and a family of pets, Cathy, a former veterinary technician, was already familiar with the problem of clogged dryer vents.
The Bellis'' launched their business last fall to serve communities throughout central New Jersey including Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean and Union counties.
While a well-trained technician handles service calls, Cathy manages the daily business operations, including working with appliance repair centers, fire departments and others to help raise public awareness about the benefits of maintaining and cleaning dryer vents.
Many people are unaware that in the U.S. alone, it is estimated that poorly maintained or clogged dryer vents are the leading cause of appliance fires, resulting in more than 15,500 dryer fires every year. These are only the reported cases.
