"We are very proud to be hosting the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships, the largest gathering of para-Alpine athletes since the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games. What a chance for Canadians to cheer our top para-skiers-including some Sochi medal winners-as they compete against the world''s best right here at home. We will be cheering from coast to coast to coast as we celebrate their efforts and achievements during the Year of Sport in Canada."

"It is a very proud moment for all of us at Alpine Canada Alpin to host such a prestigious event as the 2015 IPC Alpine Skiing World Championships. This is the first time ever IPC World Championships will occur in North America, and we are so fortunate to host them at Panorama Mountain Resort, B.C., Canada. It is incredible to be able to witness the world''s best para-Alpine athletes compete for World Championship titles on home soil. For me, this is an opportunity to showcase the warmth, dedication and commitment of the members in our ski community. Our para-Alpine athletes had enormous success in the 2014 Sochi Paralympic Games, and I am thrilled to watch them perform at the World Championships. I would like to invite all of you to join me in the finish, cheering on Canada at such an amazing venue."
