Interfor Appoints Bart Bender Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing
(firmenpresse) - VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- (Marketwired) -- 03/02/15 -- INTERFOR CORPORATION ("Interfor" or the "Company") (TSX: IFP) announced today it has appointed Bart Bender as Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing, effective April 1, 2015.
"Bart is a proven industry leader who has built a reputation of delivering exemplary customer service backed by a strong commitment to operational excellence," President and CEO Duncan Davies said today. "Over the past three years, Interfor has doubled in size and offers the broadest range of lumber products to customers around the world. Bart will play a key role as we continue to pursue our growth strategy and position our Company for long-term success."
Bender has 20 years of experience in the wood products business. He has held senior sales positions including General Manager and Vice President at Ainsworth Engineered Canada LP where he led world-wide sales, marketing and logistics efforts. He is currently Senior Vice President, Operations at Ainsworth.
Bender replaces Steven Hofer who was recently appointed Senior Vice President, US Northwest Operations, to lead the Company''s growing presence in that region.
