Brickburn Funds Announces New Meeting Date
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/25/15 --
Brickburn Funds Inc. has changed the date for the special meeting to be held in connection with the transaction to roll the Dominion Equity Resource Growth Fund into the Brickburn Small Cap Fund. As previously announced on January 8, 2015, this transaction will reduce costs for all unit holders and more properly align investor needs with current offerings. The Brickburn Small Cap Fund will continue its current investment strategy and no significant changes in positions and weights are expected.
The transaction is expected to occur on or about April 24, 2015, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval and will be effected on a tax deferred basis.
Security holder approvals for the transaction will be sought at a special meeting to be held on or about April 21, 2015. Materials will be delivered to security holders at least 21 days prior to the special meeting, with a record date of March 22, 2015.
