(firmenpresse) - SAINT JOHN, NEW BRUNSWICK -- (Marketwired) -- 02/20/15 -- The Saint John Theatre Company will present its popular theatre program the Canadian Stage Series in 2015 and 2016, thanks in part to financial support from the Government of Canada.

The theatre company received an investment of $12,000 through the Canada Arts Presentation Fund to offer audiences a series of professional theatre performances at the BMO Theatre from October 2015 to June 2016.

Rodney Weston, Member of Parliament (Saint John), announced this funding today on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

The Canadian Stage Series offers audiences smaller, more intimate and challenging theatre pieces based mainly on works from Atlantic Canada.
