(firmenpresse) - STURGIS, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 02/19/15 -- (OTCQX: STBI) announces the appointment of Michael R. Frost to the Board of Directors for Sturgis Bancorp, Inc. and Sturgis Bank & Trust Company.
Eric L. Eishen, President/CEO, stated: "Mike is an excellent addition to the boards and has demonstrated his commitment to our community through his personal investment in his Company and choosing Sturgis as a place for his family and home."
Mr. Frost is a 1993 graduate of Sturgis High School, 1997 graduate from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Economics and 2003 MBA graduate from Washington University in St. Louis. He received The Charles F. Knight Award which is given to the top 10 in the graduating class and is based on academic performance.
Mr. Frost is the President and Board Member of LTi Printing in Sturgis. Mr. Eishen also stated: "If you have an opportunity to speak to Mike you instantly know he is a man of great intellect and truly cares about people and his community." Mike, along with his wife Susanne, has four children: Charles, Luke, Owen and Maggie. They reside in Sturgis where he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Sturgis Area Community Foundation (SACF), Investment Committee of the SACF and is a Board member of the Sturgis Area Business/Education Alliance.
