(firmenpresse) - GAINESVILLE, FL and SAINT PAUL, MN -- (Marketwired) -- 02/19/15 -- The University of Florida Levin College of Law, a top-ranked U.S. law school known for its long-standing tradition of producing national leaders, and , the leading standards organization for the e-discovery market, announce the Third Annual University of Florida EDRM E-Discovery Conference will be held March 27, 2015, at the UF Law Martin H. Levin Advocacy Center. This year''s conference is titled "Electronic Discovery in Social Media, Mobile Devices and the Cloud" and will focus on litigation involving data from Facebook to Fitbits, from cell phones to the cloud.

Data from a multitude of social platforms and mobile devices capture movements, moods and the everyday moments of life. That data is stored everywhere -- on devices, at remote locations and in the cloud -- and it can make or break any litigation or investigation. At this year''s UF EDRM E-Discovery Conference, a panel of distinguished experts will demonstrate how to efficiently and defensibly identify and collect this important digital data and show how to integrate it with traditional electronically stored information to make a case and tell a winning story.

The conference is offered free of charge to all employees of federal and state governmental agencies, judges and judicial staff, students and academics. For all others, the daylong conference is available online for $99 or in person for $199. CLE credits have been applied for and are currently pending approval. Additional information and online registration are available on the conference website at .

Over the course of its three years, the annual UF EDRM E-Discovery Conference has been gaining a reputation for tackling some of the most prescient topics in electronic discovery and making e-discovery know-how available from the smallest to the largest case. This conference is underwritten by the International Center for Automated Research (ICAIR) at the University of Florida Levin College of Law as part of its public mission.

The University of Florida Levin College of Law has a longstanding tradition of producing national leaders and is one of the nation''s best values in legal education. U.S. News & World Report ranks UF Law 24th among public law schools and 49th overall. The UF Law E-Discovery Project is a multidisciplinary endeavor to support the civil litigation process through electronic discovery law courses, research, the development of information retrieval methods and tools, and skills training to practicing attorneys and litigation support professionals.
