Rise of the U.S. Dollar Leads to Dramatic Gains for OmniArch Capital''s Fixed Income Bond
Fund has grown over 30 per cent in market value in the last 18 months
(firmenpresse) - CALGARY, ALBERTA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/17/15 -- OmniArch Capital Corporation (OmniArch), one of Western Canada''s fastest growing and top performing private investment firms, is pleased to announce the dramatic growth in value of the OmniArch Fixed Income Bond. The Fund entered the U.S. marketplace in 2010 when the Canadian dollar was stronger with a strategic plan to hold securities, gain cash flows and await the rise of the U.S. economy and dollar. It has since raised approximately C$100 million with proceeds invested in discounted and mis-rated RMBS Mortgage bonds in the United States. As the U.S. dollar has continued to gain strength, so has the value of the OmniArch Fixed Income Bond''s underlying portfolio of performing RMBS U.S. based mortgage bonds.
Open for new investors only (through registered exempt market dealers) until April 30, 2015, the Fund has offered uninterrupted monthly cash flows since 2010 and OmniArch is set to exit approximately C$5 million worth of investors this year. For any investors who wish to subscribe to this offering, they are set to receive a fixed 10 per cent rate of return for a five-year term on their capital investment.
