Liberty Tax Offices Open and Available to Help Consumers Meet February 15 Health Insurance Deadline

Liberty Tax offices will be open this weekend and ready to help consumers meet Sunday''s deadline to enroll in health insurance coverage for 2015 in the Marketplace. Liberty Tax has more than 1,000 licensed health insurance agents available at participating locations across the United States. At its website , consumers can find a link to live-chat with a health insurance agent or a toll-free number to talk with an agent by phone.
Liberty Tax has made several resources available since open enrollment began in November to ensure that consumers have quick and easy access to information and health insurance agents.
"Customer service has always been our top priority," said Chuck Lovelace, Vice President of the Affordable Care Act at Liberty Tax. "We made a commitment early on to help consumers navigate the health insurance law, and we have done that. We will continue helping consumers enroll in health insurance for 2015, until the deadline has passed."
U.S. citizens and legal residents who do not enroll by Sunday''s deadline, will not be able to obtain Marketplace coverage for 2015 unless they face a qualifying life event, such as a change in income or family size. Those without insurance or a coverage exemption will pay a penalty when they file their taxes next year.
