O2 Investment Partners Announces Sale of RheTech, Inc.
(firmenpresse) - BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI -- (Marketwired) -- 02/12/15 -- O2 Investment Partners, LLC, based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, announced today the sale of its affiliated thermoplastic compounding business, RheTech, Inc., to the Sweden based HEXPOL Group. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This exit marks O2''s sixth transaction since December 2013.
RheTech and its subsidiaries have four facilities (including manufacturing and laboratories), located in Whitmore Lake, MI, Fowlerville, MI, Sandusky, OH and Blacksburg, SC. RheTech is one of North American''s leading providers of polyolefin compounds, engineered resins and multifunctional colorants and additives. RheTech was owned by the Orley family, who are also founding partners in O2.
