Saperatec enters into a long-term strategic partnership with Saperatec Industries for the roll-out of its unique recycling technology
Saperatec Industries will finance, build and operate recycling facilities across Europe using the groundbreaking Saperatec technology for separating multi-layer materials.
(firmenpresse) - Bielefeld / Prague, 12 February 2015. The technology company Saperatec, Bielefeld, has entered into a strategic cooperation with Saperatec Industries in order to set up and operate recycling facilities on an international scale using the proprietary Saperatec technology. Saperatec Industries is based in Prague and financed by a dedicated infrastructure fund. Both companies will benefit from a double-digit million euro investment to secure the international market entry.
The cooperation aims to establish recycling lines across Europe that will transform, for the first time ever, multilayer packaging materials and plastics/aluminium laminates from used beverage cartons into truly separated marketable raw materials. In this enhanced business model, Saperatec provides its revolutionary, globally unique technology for separating multilayer materials, and Saperatec Industries will take over the construction and operation of recycling facilities and the management of material streams. This way, the benefits of the Saperatec technology can be offered directly to a large number of customers. Specific projects are already being developed and the first recycling facility under this cooperation will start operations in early 2016.

To foster their partnership, the two companies have implemented a cross-shareholding scheme. At the same time, Saperatec has secured further growth funding from its existing investors to accelerate its growth and enter new applications for its platform technology.
