Broadly distributed to the public each month, free of charge, the ADP Regional Employment Report measures monthly changes in regional nonfarm private employment on a seasonally adjusted basis.
"Led by a strong employment month in California, the West was the only major region to exceed its twelve-month average of job gains in January," said Ahu Yildirmaz, VP and head of the ADP Research Institute®. "Hiring in Texas was well below recent trends. This may be due to falling oil prices making businesses in related industries cautious about adding head count."
On February 4, 2015, the ADP National Employment Report® reported that total U.S. private sector employment increased by a total of 213,000 jobs from December to January.

The data for all three reports is collected for pay periods that can be interpolated to include the week of the 12th of each month, and processed with statistical methodologies similar to those used by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics to compute employment from its monthly survey of establishments. Due to this processing, this subset is modified to make it indicative of national employment levels; therefore, the resulting employment changes computed for the ADP National Employment Report are not representative of changes in ADP''s total base of U.S. business clients.
