IGM Financial Inc. Announces January 2015 Mutual Fund Sales and Total Assets Under Management
(firmenpresse) - WINNIPEG, MANITOBA -- (Marketwired) -- 02/03/15 -- IGM Financial Inc. (IGM) (TSX: IGM) today reported preliminary total mutual fund net new money in January of ($93.5) million as shown in Table 1. Total assets under management were $145.5 billion at January 31, 2015, compared with $141.9 billion at December 31, 2014 and $132.3 billion at January 31, 2014. Mutual fund assets under management were $128.9 billion as at January 31, 2015, compared with $126.0 billion at December 31, 2014 and $117.9 billion at January 31, 2014. Assets under management are shown in Table 2.
(i)Mutual Fund Net New Money is defined as Gross Sales less Gross Redemptions and is consistent with the terminology used by The Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC).
Investors Group''s Gross Sales and Net New Money for November and December 2014 have been adjusted from earlier reported preliminary numbers as follows:
Preliminary average mutual fund assets under management and average total assets under management for the quarter to date are set out in Table 3.
