Cold Weather Does Little to Cool Off Sales at Volkswagen Canada: New Golf and GTI Continue to Top the Charts
(firmenpresse) - AJAX, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 02/03/15 -- Sales at have picked up right where they left off in 2014. In January, the automaker established a new monthly record of 4,134 units, topping the previous mark (3,683) set last year. This represents a 12% increase and puts the company on firm ground heading into the busy spring selling season.
"Our new and models have struck a chord with our customers," stated Maria Stenstrom, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group Canada. "With the impending arrival of the all-new , Canadians will soon have yet another Golf to choose from."
Overall, the top-selling car in Volkswagen''s lineup remains the sedan. In January, 1,662 were sold. Last year, the Jetta was one of the top-selling cars in Canada, and with a host of new safety features incorporated into the 2015 model; it is likely to be just as popular this year.
