Press Conference to Take Place on the Asian American & Pacific Islander Construction Expo

This will focus on ways to grow a business, meet new clients, and find new projects. Participants will also have the opportunity to network with major businesses, government officials, community leaders, and fellow business owners. Special emphasis will be on how to use government resources to grow your business.
Tom Ito of the design firm Gensler is the event''s keynote speaker. Mr. Ito famously led the celebrated renovation of the Beverly Hills Hotel, and has since expanded internationally, leading numerous complex mixed-use, entertainment, and hotel projects worldwide. His leadership was integral to the 18-million-square-foot CityCenter development on the Las Vegas Strip, and Ito''s team recently completed the architecture, interior design and branding for the award-winning Shore Hotel, a LEED®-certified luxury oceanfront resort in Santa Monica.
Additional speakers include:
David Honda, Chairman of So Cal Corporate Growth Partners, whose credentials include service as board president of the Minority Business Development Agency; President of DS Honda Construction and DH Partners; and Governor Appointee of 51st District Agricultural Association;
Dan Sieu from the U.S. Department of Commerce, Minority Business Development Agency, who has extensive experience in marketing and finance management, and considerable knowledge of how to expand opportunities for minority businesses;
