NAPEC Inc. Announces the Appointment of Luc Reny as Chairman of the Board of Directors
(firmenpresse) - DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 01/28/15 -- NAPEC Inc. ("NAPEC" or the "Corporation") (TSX: NPC) today announced the appointment of Luc Reny as Chairman of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of the Corporation. This appointment takes effect immediately.
A director of NAPEC since June 2010, Mr. Reny was chairman of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee at the time of his appointment. He is also a member of the Audit Committee.
Luc Reny has been with Power Corporation of Canada for more than 25 years and has been Vice-President of that company since May 2005. He has held similar responsibilities with Power Financial Corporation since November 2009. He had previously worked in the equity market and asset management departments of the Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec from 1983 to 1989.
Mr. Reny has extensive experience as a corporate director and is currently a member of the boards of Square Victoria Communications Group Inc., Gesca Ltee, La Presse Ltee, as well as of a number of charitable organizations. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a bachelor''s degree in finance from Universite Laval and an Executive MBA from Universite de Sherbrooke.
