The I Don''t Get Tired (#IDGT) Tour follows the release of Gates'' critically acclaimed LUCA BRASI 2: A GANGSTA GRILLZ SPECIAL EDITION MIXTAPE, which proved to be the Baton Rouge MC''s most successful release to date debuting at No. 3 on the Current Rap Albums Chart, at No. 5 on the Current R&B/Hip Hop Albums Chart and at No. 9 on the Overall & Current Digital Albums Chart.
The name of this tour coincides with the mixtape''s lead single "I Don''t Get Tired (#IDGT) Ft. August Alsina," which has become an anthem for the #IDGT campaign and social media movement Gates started on Instagram last year. Gates'' use of the phrase, "I Don''t Get Tired," represents his overall attitude as a rapper and parent with a relentless hardworking attitude. The #IDGT hashtag has been used over half a million times on Instagram alone, with countless placements on other social media platforms.
