Former Apple Games App Store Manager Joins Leading Global Social and Mobile Gaming Company

Essig was most recently at Apple, where he managed the games section of the App Store. As Head of Business Development, Essig is now responsible for scaling the FunPlus business through partnerships with game makers, platform and technology companies as well as strong brands.
Essig brings years of entertainment and games experience to his new role, including a key role at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) where he was instrumental in developing its games practice. His responsibilities included representing independent video game designers and studios in the development of licensed and original game IP for console, downloadable, social and mobile gaming platforms. His success at CAA eventually landed him his coveted role at Apple. During his tenure, the games store billings increased by six-fold.
