The study, Measuring the Fiscal Performance of Canada''s Premiers, 2015, provides an objective, empirical assessment of how Canada''s premiers have managed the public finances of their provinces and whether they have pursued sound long-term economic policies. It ranks 10 provincial premiers (five current and five former) on three core components of fiscal policy: government spending, taxes, and debt and deficits.
