Hartco Terminates Strategic Review Process
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, CANADA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/16/15 -- Hartco Inc. ("Hartco" or the "Company") (TSX: HCI) today announced that its Board of Directors has ended the previously announced review of strategic options available to the Company, and that Mr. Harry Hart, the Company''s Executive Chairman and majority shareholder, has decided to maintain his ownership position in Hartco.
Since announcing the strategic review process, the Strategic Review Committee of Hartco''s Board of Directors has collaborated with its external advisors to identify prospects to acquire the Company. However, the Company has not identified a suitable buyer.
Following the decision to end the strategic review process, the Company will proceed with plans to focus and invest in resources to reinvigorate its business and fulfill its potential.
