Aeroports de Montreal Hails the Agreement Between the Government of Quebec and Caisse de depot et placement
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 01/13/15 -- Aeroports de Montreal (ADM) enthusiastically welcomes this morning''s announcement by the Government of Quebec and the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, which paves the way for a new and innovative framework for future financing and completion of major infrastructure projects in the province.
ADM is also delighted to learn that priority is being given to a public-transit system linking downtown Montreal, Montreal-Trudeau International Airport and the West Island, a project in which the airport authority has invested significant effort for more than a decade and that is absolutely essential to the future of airport operations and the development of air services in Montreal.
ADM also congratulates the Couillard government for its vision and the Caisse de depot et placement for its leadership with regard to this paradigm shift in the financing and undertaking of major infrastructure projects.
