New CTO Paul Hofmann to Lead Burgeoning Data Science Initiatives

Hofmann, with twenty years of experience in analytics and machine learning, will collaborate with Space-Time Insight''s data science team, led by Chief Scientist Alan McCord, to solidify the company''s leadership position in big data and real-time visual analytics. Space-Time Insight, which has doubled in size in the last year, provides situational intelligence solutions that correlate, analyze and visualize data to facilitate faster, more-informed decision-making.
Hofmann joins Space-Time Insight from Saffron Technology where he led product strategy and the research team. He has held similar positions at global companies such as SAP and BASF. Hofmann has been entrenched in research as scientist and Assistant Professor at Northwestern University, MIT and Technical University in Munich. Hofmann will raise the bar for Space-Time Insight''s optimization and machine learning solutions and maximize the return on Space-Time Insight''s 2014 of Utilicase''s EPS-M asset analytics technology.
