FT Portfolios Canada Co. Announces Distributions for Its U.S. Sector Exchange Traded Funds
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/22/14 -- FT Portfolios Canada Co. ("First Trust") announced today the revision of the record date and ex-dividend date for the cash and reinvested distribution for its U.S. Sectors Exchange Traded Funds (the "U.S. Sector ETFs") listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange for the quarter ending December 31, 2014.
The distributions are payable on January 12, 2015 to Unitholders of record on December 31, 2014 with an ex-dividend date of December 29, 2014.
The annual reinvested distributions generally represent realized capital gains within the U.S. Sect or ETFs or special distributions received by the ETFs and are paid to unitholders, as required, to ensure the U.S. Sector ETFs are not liable for ordinary income tax.
Details for the per unit distribution amounts previously announced on December 18, 2014 remain unchanged and are presented in the table below:
