Update for Clifton Star Resources Inc. Shareholders
(firmenpresse) - MONTREAL, QUEBEC -- (Marketwired) -- 12/22/14 -- At the behest of a number of shareholders, we have requisitioned the Board of Clifton Star to call a special meeting to remove the existing board and replace it with a slate of five new members: William Howald, Eric Owens, Mark Billings, Chantal Patenaude and Michael Pesner; strong candidates all.
The earliest the meeting can be held is February 24, 2015 but no later than March 10, 2015.
Given the confidence expressed by Michel Bouchard, CEO with the results of the AGM vote where the current Board ran unopposed, one would expect that they would choose the earlier date.
We eagerly look forward to that contest where the shareholders will have a clear choice as to whether they wish to remain with the dead-end, costly, and failed plans of present management or whether they wish to go with a talented and experienced group of new board members who can and will return value to the beleaguered shareholders of Clifton Star.
