Fascinated by how the element of fire has shaped culinary and cultural landscapes for centuries, Designer Henry Chebaane from Blue Sky Hospitality aptly dubbed the new eatery ''a steakhouse born of fire'' referencing the culinary evolution to events such as hunting dragons like the hero Bayram Gur, burning natural gas vents at the Zoroastrian Ateshgah, collecting embers at Yanar Dag, preparing smoky tea samovar with coals or grilling aromatic kebabs.
The restaurant is entered via a ceremonial canopy of glowing metal rods, translucent bricks and wooden blocks symbolizing the ritualistic elements of grilling and roasting. These elements are repeated throughout the space on walls and ceilings in different compositions of light, shadow and textures imbuing the whole dining space with a distinctive halo of comforting warmth.
The canopy acts as an inverted red carpet that leads guests to discover the , Fireworks kitchen, Whisky & Brandy library, the wine bar and finally, a large outdoor terrace with wide fire bowls and commanding views overlooking Baku.
Open daily for lunch and dinner, Fireworks Urban Kitchen offers a wide variety of steaks, chops, local "?i?" dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. The beverage menu focuses on whisky, hand-crafted cocktails and an intriguing wine list with a wide selection of quality wines. Presentations and garnish are always simple, highlighting the quality and textures of the prepared food. Sides range from chunky chips, crispy onion rings, creamy mashed potatoes and grilled seasonal vegetables. For those who want to travel in time and space by plunging into a world of rug universe, the hotel'' Razzmatazz Cocktail Bar & Lounge is the place to be. Here, patterns of digitally extended flower pomegranate pop out onto the walls and ceiling and the bar and wooden wall panels contain angular lines that trace the threads of the loom into space so it feels just like taking a ride on a flying rug.
After extensive research into the culture and art of Azerbaijan, Blue Sky Hospitality''s Henry Chebaane developed a unique concept where every detail inside this unique bar has meaning. This reflects not only to the rugs which were traditionally used as story books, but to the three rams'' heads on the walls as well. Adorned with Swarovski crystals the heads refer to the best known folk-tale of Azerbaijan about three baby goats called "?engülüm, ?üngülüm and Mengülüm". Even after death they still radiate wisdom to people through the shining crystals which look just like the disco balls.
