FT Portfolios Canada Co. Announces Distributions for Its U.S. Sector Exchange Traded Funds
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/18/14 -- FT Portfolios Canada Co. ("First Trust") is pleased to announce cash and reinvested distributions for its U.S. Sectors Exchange Traded Funds (the "US Sector ETFs") listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange for the period ending December 31, 2014. The annual reinvested distributions generally represent realized capital gains within the U.S. Sector ETFs or special distributions received by the U.S. Sector ETFs and are paid to unitholders, as required, to ensure the U.S. Sector ETFs are not liable for ordinary income tax.
The cash distributions are payable on January 12, 2015 to Unitholders of record on January 5, 2015 with an ex-dividend date of December 31, 2014.
