TransGaming End of Year Summary
(firmenpresse) - TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwired) -- 12/18/14 -- TransGaming Inc. (TSX VENTURE: TNG) released an end of year summary with highlights of noteworthy events for calendar 2014.
The company discussed that it had completed the major pivot that was initiated for its Graphics & Portability Group, which was marked by the release of Metal Gear Rising: Revenegeance, the first title under the new publishing strategy. This new initiative is being actively realized with many publishers and multiple titles on the horizon, with additional games expected to be deployed in late January.
TransGaming''s GameTree TV platform has gained considerable momentum in 2014. The games service is available on the majority of global TV OEMs including Samsung, Toshiba, Philips, Sharp, Panasonic, Vizio. GameTree TV is thriving on Free with over 70 games being offered to users and 6 million minutes of gameplay being logged by subscribers between January and November of 2014. TransGaming also announced an agreement with a major European cable operator which was expected to go live in December but has been delayed until the new year due to minor technical issues on the operator side. Furthermore, the company announced a strategic partnership with ActiveVideo that will allow GameTree TV to be accessible to cable operators utilizing the CloudTV platform.
