Today, the Honourable Steven Blaney, Canada''s Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, announced the coming into force of the Enhancing Royal Canadian Mounted Police Accountability Act, which provides legislative reforms that will enhance the accountability of the RCMP in its service to Canadians.
