Comfortable Patients‘ Rooms thanks to BEKA Ceiling Cooling
(firmenpresse) - In November 2011, the new ward building of the Municipal Hospital Brandenburg (Städtisches Klinikum Brandenburg) was opened. All patients’ rooms are cooled in summer via cooling ceilings with BEKA capillary tube mats.
Three years later, the hospital is very satisfied with the ceiling cooling and appreciates especially the draft-free and silent climatisation that serves the patients’ wellbeing. “Thanks to the cooling ceiling, the room temperatures are very pleasant, even in hot summer”, confirms Georg Riethmüller, Technical Director of the Klinik Service Center GmbH.

Unternehmensinformation / Kurzprofil:
The company BeKa Heiz- und Kühlmatten GmbH was founded in 1996 in Berlin and is currently employing about 30 permanent employees. The medium-sized company is specialised in the production of capillary tube mats made of polypropylene. The mats are applied in efficient heating and cooling including ceiling cooling, radiant underfloor heating, concrete core activation, geothermal energy and several special applications.
The innovative capillary tube technology enables a high-quality and healthy climatisation with low consumption of energy and resources.
Further advantages are short response time, small profile of the mats and thus a thin overall construction. The result is an absolutely uniform temperature distribution without draft which people find pleasant.
Capillary tube mats are equally suitable for new constructions and retrofits. With an experience of over 20 years, capillary mats are used for climate friendly, invisible heating and cooling of offices, hotels, hospitals, stores and residential buildings worldwide.
