HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA -- (Newswire - November 25, 2014) - Troy Grant, President and CEO of ELCORA RESOURCES CORP. (TSXV:ERA/Frankfurt:ELM), (the "Company" or "Elcora"), is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Janaka Udaya Kumara to the company as Mine Manager. Mr Kumara has a B.Sc. of Engineering in Mining from the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka and a Masters of Engineering Sciences from the University of New South Wales in Australia. He also holds the Australian First Class Mines Manager Certificate. Mr Kumara brings more than 18 years of experience in the mining industry including work with BHP Billition, HWE Mining and Kentor Gold, Australia, and in Sri Lanka as Chief Mining Engineer for the Geological Survey and Mines Branch of the Sri Lankan government and as an engineer at the Bogola graphite mine. Mr. Kumaras unique blend of experiences will assist Elcora to modernize and expand the Ragedara mine with modern technology and techniques while understanding the local culture and abilities.
Mr. Kumara joins Dr. Flint, our graphite processing and product expert, and our marketing group as Elcora continues to build a solid operational management team.
